We are US expats who’ve been living Costa Rica for over 4 years now. Our Spanish is passable & we feel like we know “the ropes” pretty well on how things function here. But when we decided to purchase a new car we didn’t hesitate to follow our neighbor’s recommendation to use Russ’ services at Wheels CR.
Russ made the entire process SO easy. He gave us good advice throughout, & refused to take money from us until he was sure he could deliver the car we wanted, a new Suzuki Jimny with automatic transmission. These were in very short supply in CR, yet he miraculously found us one & used his relationship with the dealer to make sure it stayed reserved for us. He picked us up at our hotel, sat with us as we signed all the paperwork & explained everything we were signing to us. We would have been clueless otherwise. He also arranged for the non-dealer upgrades we wanted for the car, & personally took us to where they got installed.
We highly recommend Russ & Wheels CR, & we’ll definitely go back to him for our next car purchase!
